Key Ingredients
Tamanu Oil
Tamanu oil is a carrier oil extracted from the nut of the Tamanu tree. It is known for its high lipid content which plumps up the volume of the skin, making it nourishing and hydrated. Tamanu oil is also rich in a unique essential fatty acid which reduces the appearance of redness, melasma, scars, fine lines, and improves skin texture. It is considered one of the most nourishing and nutrient-rich carrier oils available, with moisturising, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. It stimulates collagen production to promote wound healing, and also has antibacterial properties, particularly against the bacteria associated with acne.
Blue Tansy Oil
Blue Tansy is an essential oil that is obtained from the flowers of the Tanacetum annuum plant. The oil is known for its bright blue color and fruity aroma. It is mainly used in skincare products for its anti-inflammatory and soothing properties, which help to reduce the appearance of blemishes and acne. The oil is also thought to be helpful in repairing damaged skin caused by sunburn, abrasions, and wounds, and in preventing the signs of aging like wrinkles and fine lines.
Prickly Pear Oil
Prickly pear oil is a type of oil derived from the seeds of the prickly pear cactus. It is high in antioxidants and fatty acids, making it beneficial for a variety of skin care uses. The oil is known for its moisturizing properties and can help hydrate and plump up the skin. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce redness and irritation. Additionally, it's rich in Vitamin E, an antioxidant that can help protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals.
